Animal Ethics
The Journal of Integrative Bioscience Research (JIBR) is committed to ensuring the ethical and humane treatment of animals used in scientific research.
Policy
- Research involving animals must be conducted in accordance with applicable national and international laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines.
- Studies must receive approval from an appropriate Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), Animal Ethics Committee (AEC), or an equivalent institutional body before the research is conducted.
- Authors must provide the name of the approving committee and the approval/reference number (where applicable) in the manuscript.
- Authors should demonstrate that appropriate measures were taken to minimize animal suffering and use the minimum number of animals necessary to achieve the scientific objectives.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with recognized animal welfare and ethical standards may be rejected.
JIBR supports the responsible and ethical use of animals in research and expects authors to adhere to internationally accepted principles of animal welfare and research integrity.
