Human Subjects

The Journal of Integrative Bioscience Research (JIBR) requires that all research involving human participants be conducted in accordance with internationally recognized ethical standards.

Policy

• Research involving human participants must have received approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board (IRB), Research Ethics Committee (REC), or equivalent ethics committee before the study was conducted.
• Authors must state the name of the approving ethics committee and the approval/reference number (where applicable) in the manuscript.
• Informed consent must be obtained from all participants or their legal guardians prior to participation.
• The privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of participants must be protected at all times.
• Any identifying personal information or images must not be published without the participant's explicit written consent.
• Manuscripts that fail to meet ethical requirements for human subject research may be rejected.

JIBR follows the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure the protection of human participants and the integrity of published research.
