Guide for Authors
The Journal of Integrative Bioscience Research (JIBR) welcomes the submission of high-quality, original research that advances knowledge in the biological, health, environmental, agricultural, and computational sciences. JIBR is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to publishing scientifically rigorous and ethically conducted research with global relevance.
Authors are encouraged to carefully read these guidelines before preparing and submitting a manuscript. Compliance with these instructions will facilitate the editorial process and help ensure timely peer review and publication.
Before You Submit
Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:
- The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.
- The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
- All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.
- The research falls within the journal's Aims and Scope.
- Ethical approval has been obtained where applicable.
- All funding sources and conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
- References are complete and accurately formatted.
- Figures and tables are of publication quality.
- The manuscript complies with the journal's formatting requirements.

Accepted Article Types
The journal considers the following categories of manuscripts:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles
- Short Communications
- Case Studies (where appropriate)

- Letters to the Editor
- Special Issue Articles
Each article type undergoes peer review unless otherwise specified.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.
The manuscript should normally include the following sections:
- Title Page
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgments (if applicable)
- Funding Statement
- Conflict of Interest Statement
- Data Availability Statement
- References
- Figures and Tables
Manuscript Formatting
Authors should prepare manuscripts using the official JIBR manuscript template.
General formatting requirements include:
- Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
- A4 page size
- 12-point Times New Roman font
Title Page
The title page should include:
- Full article title
- Short running title (if applicable)
- Full names of all authors
- Institutional affiliations
- ORCID iDs (recommended)
- Corresponding author's name, email address, and affiliation
Abstract
The abstract should:
- Be written as a single paragraph unless otherwise specified.
- Contain approximately 200–300 words.
- Clearly summarize the objectives, methods, principal findings, and conclusions.
- Avoid citations and undefined abbreviations.
Keywords
Provide 4–8 keywords that accurately describe the manuscript and assist indexing services in identifying the article.
References
References must be accurate, complete, and formatted according to the journal's required citation style. Authors are encouraged to include Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) whenever available.
Figures and Tables
Figures and tables should:
- Be cited sequentially in the text.
- Include informative titles and legends.
- Be of high resolution suitable for publication.
- Avoid unnecessary duplication of information presented in the text.
Supplementary Materials
Supplementary datasets, software, multimedia files, protocols, or additional figures may be submitted to support the published article.
Online Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
Authors will be guided through the submission process, including:
- Manuscript information
- Author information
- Metadata entry
- File upload
- Confirmation of submission
Peer Review
All submissions undergo:
- Initial editorial screening
- Scope and format evaluation
- Similarity check
- Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers
- Editorial decision
- Revision (if required)
- Final acceptance
- Copyediting and proofreading
- Publication
Publication Ethics
JIBR adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics standards.
Authors are expected to:
- Submit original work.
- Avoid plagiarism and duplicate publication.
- Accurately report research findings.
- Properly acknowledge all sources.
- Disclose conflicts of interest.
- Obtain ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.

Open Access Policy
JIBR is an Open Access journal. All published articles are freely accessible immediately upon publication without subscription or access charges, promoting the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the article according to the journal's licensing policy.
Editorial Decision
Following peer review, one of the following editorial decisions will be communicated:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject with Resubmission Encouraged
- Reject
The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to make the final publication decision.
After Acceptance
Accepted manuscripts proceed through:
- Technical editing
- Copyediting
- Author proof review
- DOI registration
- Online publication
- Indexing and archiving
