Journal Ethics

The Journal of Integrative Bioscience Research (JIBR) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct throughout the publication process. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to:

  • Accurately report research methods and results.
  • Properly acknowledge all sources.
  • Obtain approval for studies involving human participants or animals.
  • Disclose all funding sources.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Cooperate with editors during the review process.
  • Correct significant errors discovered after publication.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making impartial editorial decisions.
  • Maintaining confidentiality throughout the review process.
  • Selecting qualified reviewers.
  • Preventing conflicts of interest.
  • Ensuring ethical publication practices.
  • Investigating allegations of misconduct.
  • Issuing corrections or retractions when necessary.

Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, significance, and relevance of submitted manuscripts.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Review manuscripts objectively and constructively.
  • Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
  • Report suspected plagiarism or ethical concerns.
  • Declare conflicts of interest.
  • Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher supports the editorial independence of the journal and is committed to:

  • Providing long-term digital preservation.

Authorship

All listed authors should have made substantial contributions to:

  • Research conception or design.
  • Data collection or analysis.
  • Manuscript preparation or revision.
  • Approval of the final version.

Individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately.

Ghost authorship, guest authorship, and honorary authorship are unacceptable.
